History

Much of Jaxkael's life before the events leading up to the Bleeding of the Planes was fairly insignificant. Like all living Adac, he was brought into a coalition by Venadak in order to survive and thrive in a chaotic, and often inhospitable galaxy, fearful of the all-encompassing power of the beast that always seemed to lurk beyond the pale. Yet for much of his life after this coalition had been formed, the Dreg-King lived in regret of his compliance to the other Gods, disheartened by the possibilities of the life - though short - he may have surrendered, and the opportunity to stake his claim in that very darkly galaxy that he feared. As the Planes were crafted, and Muid was made, he found himself increasingly fixated on what he called 'a chance'; a chance for command, a chance for a proving, a chance for war.

He reveled in the opportunity to fight for Venadak's life. To spill Divine blood -- the blood of some of his very own children -- and to exercise the rite of his own, eminent totality. For so long before that, the Adac had writhed in a sense of tedium, receiving the droll prayers of slack-jawed, illiterate women and men from a realm away; playing the role of a God, unwanted, a constant agitator within the ranks of his kin for something greater; something more. Dominance, control, suppression. He believed the Gods should live as Gods -- enacting onto the lands and bodies of their worthless subjects whatever they so desired. Constantly, he was reined in. For a God of Command, this sense of subdual to his peers was one difficult to stomach, leading him to become a lonesome wanderer within his sector of Muid, within which he performed out his petulant rage.

Jaxkael was always abusive. Unlike many of the other Gods, he had no particularly strong will to survive or further the Adac race, but rather to reap the spoils of the world they had created. But Jaxkael had also played very little part in that creation -- save for imbuing some of his own foul impulses into the mortal races, his disinterest in the 'lowliness' of mortal-kind had prevented him from significant dealings in their emergence. Perhaps, many believe, this only reinforced his wroth; he had no particular investment in the lesser-kind, and no reason to view himself as a 'father' of theirs, of any kind. Where paternal or maternal instinct existed among many of his peers, Jaxkael was driven by a narcissistic need for self-gratification, one that could only ever come to full fruition in the face of the Bleeding.

As the Gods who stood within Adena were trapped in Bel, Jaxkael first found his new predicament infuriating: a being as powerful as he, imprisoned away from his realm. He scraped and clawed as he attempted to cleave his way into the Mantle of Adena, hoping to gouge the Light-Creator's eyes from their sockets, and cave in his skull. What he found was, first, futility. Then -- as he looked upon his peers -- he noted that they had all begun to change, drowning in Corruption, their minds becoming addled and deranged. This prospect infused him with zeal; he felt a certain power over them. Corruption had not addled his mind... instead, he felt emboldened by it. To fulfill the desires he had longed to for thousands of years. And now -- surrounded by his old jailors, now jailed themselves by their dear 'leader' -- he had a truly equal playing field; a war, with his opponents lined up to slaughter.

Jaxkael began the Endless War. It did not take him long to begin levying attacks at the other Corrupted Adac, first verbal, and then much more direct. He willfully allowed his bonded spirits to become Dregs, and even began the synthesis of the Orkhai, who would serve as his great army in the fight he'd begun. He fashioned himself a ruler, the King of the Mantle, and took residence beside the portal leading to Adena's scarred surface. Jaxkael learned that the portals allowed even the Imprisoned Ones more influence on the surface, allowing them to perform miraculous deeds, to contact followers, and - in his case - to transport his Orkhai to the Mortal Plane. It soon became undeniable just how great of a threat he was, and before long, the other Gods partook in his indulgence. The Endless War became more than a one-sided affair; first Valteran laid waste to his armies, then Y'shendra began to reanimate fallen Orkhai for her own.

A true, great war had begun, Jaxkael eternally and blissfully at its core. God-King Jack, as he now styled himself, had gotten the 'chance' he wanted... and it was everything he dreamt it would be.

Influence

WIP.

The God-King is known to be the original creator of the Orkhai, making them green-skinned for his own amusement, but modeling their strength and tenacity after what he believes to be his own valor. They quickly fractured into tribes, with each tribe quickly becoming influenced and then claimed by a plethora of Gods within Bel. Thus, ironically, the effective God of Control lost the reins to his one race.

New Shitport

So "inspired" by the Daravinic-Badlander city of Shitport, Jack named his realm after it in the year 4412. Work in progress.
